Workers in Pakistan still battling Syngenta’s union busting activities
It has almost three years [2] that workers employed at Syngenta’s plant in Pakistan have been fighting against union repression in their fight against precarious employment practices and better working conditions. Syngenta [3] is a Swiss global company specialising in the production of herbicides and pesticides. The fight to reinstate a sacked union organiser continues with the company using its financial weight [4] to try and exhaust the workers in their fight. | |||
